Coach Darren Murphy’s team will be playing in the National High School Invitational in North Carolina and will be playing Bishop Gorman of Las Vegas in a non-league matchup. Others to watch include Zach Bromstead (1.53 ERA) and Karlos Morales (.330, 20 RBI). Cal State Fullerton-bound Jacob Amaya (.385) also returns along with senior infielder John Dearth. Dieter went 7-2 with a 1.10 ERA and batted nearly. The Huskies will be led by State Sophomore of the Year Brandon Dieter, who also has committed to Stanford.
